"Dust in the Wind"  Kansas
Here's the intro. It's a fingerpicking style called "Travis picking"
named after Merle Travis who apparently came up with it first.

Essentially, it's just variations of C and Am, alternating between open,
1st fret and 3rd fret on the 2nd string with your index and pinky.

Why does everyone get this WRONG???Catch a "C" chord, pick strings
5 & 2 together.then it's strings 3 - 1 - 5 - 2 - 3 in that order.
T = thumb F = index finger. So its T-5 & F-2 together. Then its
T-3 , F-1 , T-5 , F-2 , T-3. I submitted a very full and very detailed
set of tabs on this song, but it has not yet been posted.If you have any questions or comments: omanyen@fusemail.com

omanyen i haven't looked at your set of extensive tabs on this song. I am also sure you will never read this since it is 8 years after your ticked off post. The picking is called outside in and your picking pattern here leaves out the very last note in each bar. The finger pattern is P = thumb, I = index, M = middle and it goes something like this p and m together for the first two notes then it is p,i,p,m,p,i. If you based your extensive tabs on this same pattern you posted here, it is not correct but pretty close. Stop being angry at people, especially when you are wrong! There is very little wrong with this tab. For those interested the chords are C, CMaj7, Cadd9, C, Asus2, Asus, Am, Asus2 for the first 8 bars. You should be able to work out the order for the rest from there.
