Only Fooling Myself - Kate Voegele

CAPO 1

VERSE 1:
G Am C
I stop to catch my breath
G Am C
And I stop to catch your eye
G Am C
No need to second-guess
G Am C
That you've been on my mind
G Am C
I dream days away, but that's okay
              G Am C
It's like I want to hear a silent sound
G Am C
And then hold it in my hand
        G Am C
But a rose won't blossom from a ground
                        D D
Of desert sand, but I like to pretend that

CHORUS:
G D
One day I'll turn around
Em C
I'll see your hand reach out
G D
Im only fooling myself, oh
Em C G D Em
But maybe when you smile
                      C
It means you'll stay awhile
G D Em C
Just maybe you'll save me now
G Am C G Am C

VERSE 2:
G Am C
Well, now it's etched in stone
                   G Am
That I can't survive alone
C G Am C
You have the missing piece
      G Am C
That I need so desperately
                 G Am C
Yes, I slip away to a day that'll never come
                G Am
It's like a splash of water to my face
C
When I suddenly realize
   G Am C G
That you could never
C
find a place
           D
For me in your eyes
                  D
And I don't know why I keep thinking

CHORUS:
G D
One day I'll turn around
Em C
I'll see your hand reach out
G D
Im only fooling myself, oh
Em C G D Em
But maybe when you smile
                      C
It means you'll stay awhile
G D Em C
Just maybe you'll save me now
G Am C G Am C

BRIDGE:
         Em D A C
It's love in disguise
         Em D A C
I'm lost in your eyes
C
I'm lost in your eyes

CHORUS:
G D
One day I'll turn around
Em C
I'll see your hand reach out
G D
Im only fooling myself, oh
Em C G D Em
But maybe when you smile
                      C
It means you'll stay awhile
G D Em C
Just maybe you'll save me now
G Am C G Am C

                G Am C
Oh, save me now
G Am C
Yea, save me now...

Good tab! I just have one minor correction. I couldn't even hear the difference in this, so it's not a big deal. I
saw her play live the other night, so I know that the following chords for the chorus are correct:

G
Dsus
One day I'll turn around
Em7 Dsus
I'll see your hand reach out
G Dsus Em7
Im
only fooling myself, oh

Riff:

E|-----|
B|-----|
G|-----|
D|-----|
A|3-2-0--|
E|-----3|

G
Dsus
But maybe when you smile
Em7 Dsus
It means you'll stay awhile
G Dsus Em7

Just maybe you'll save me now

Riff:

G|-----|

Yeah, I find that it matches the song more with standard tuning, no capo. But capo 1 is ok too!
