Strumming

This song is very, very, very simple to play..
That's why I love the Kings of Convenience.. they make the most beautiful music
and they make it simple.

You only need two chords:

 Am and E
|-0-| |-0-|
|-1-| |-0-|
|-2-| |-1-|
|-2-| |-2-|
|-0-| |-2-|
|-x-| |-0-|

and that's it!

you need to pick the chords in each of the verses, and strum on the chorus.

intro Am, E

Am
There are very many things
                           E
I would like to say to you,
          Am
but i've lost my way
               E
and I've lost my words.

Am
There are very many places
I would like to go
    E Am
but I can't find the key
            E
to open my door.

Chorus:
Am E
The weight of my words-
                          Am, E
you can't feel it anymore.
Am E
The weight of my words-
                          Am, E
you can't feel it anymore.

There are very many ways
I would like to break the spell
you've cast upon me.
Because all the time
I sacrificed myself
to make you want me,
has made you hant me.

The weight of my words
you can't feel it anymore
The weight of my words
you can't feel it anymore

There are very many things
I would like to say to you,
but i've lost my way
and I've lost my words.

There are very many places
I would like to go
but I can't find the key
to open my door.

Great job. I had no idea this song was so simple. He really does a great job of finding the pockets where his voice shines.

It's definitely more complicated than this. Try putting your finger on the fourth fret of the B string (Eb) during the Emaj chord and you'll notice that it sounds much more similar to the original. Not exactly sure of the fretting but I'll come back if I work it out!
