This tab is the part which is often thought to be a synth,
it is bass, but with delay and probably an octave pedal.

This tab is not what Jared actually plays,
but it is a very basic tab just to give you the idea without all of the effects.

G-----------------16-16-16----------------19-19-19----------------18-18-18-+
D--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
A--14-14-14-14-14-14-------17-17-17-17-17-17-------16-16-16-16-16-16-------+
E--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Anyway hope you get the idea.

Does this continue through the whole song?

Yeah, it's played with a whammy pedal set one octave up, without playing the G, but it's the same so it's all good.
