N/C (some woohoo____ooo-ing)

[Verse 2]

N/C (muted brisk strumming throughout singing)
And my heart hit a problem, in the early hours,
N/C
So I stopped it dead for a beat or two.
Em B7 Em (Repeat strumming from verses for middle 8)
N/C
But I cut some cord, and I shouldn't have done it,
Em B7 Em
N/C
And it won't forgive me after all these years

Em B7 Em
N/C
So I sent it to a place in the middle of nowhere

With a big black horse and a cherry tree.
Em B7 Em
N/C
Now it won't come back, 'cause it's oh so happy

And now I've got a hole for the world to see
Em B7 Em
N/C

I said no, no, you're not the one for me

No, no, no-----o, no-no-no
       Em D C7 Em
I said no, no, you're not the one for me

[sung acapella]

   Em D D6 Cmaj7 Em

Big black horse and a cherry tree
Em D C7 Em
I can't quite get there 'cause my heart's forsaken me
Em D D6 Cmaj7 Em
Big black horse and a cherry tree
Em D D6 Cmaj7 Em
No, no, no, no, no,no,no
