this is how lee dewyze plays it in his top 3 performance
no verse 3

          D Bm
Now I've heard there was a secret chord
       D Bm
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
     G A D A
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
     G A
The fourth, the fifth
     Bm G
The minor fall, the major lift
      A F#m
The baffled king composing
     Bm G Bm G D,A,D

 D Bm
Baby I have been here before
   D Bm
I know this room, I've walked this floor
   G A D A
I used to live alone before I knew you.
      D G A
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
 Bm G
Love is not a victory march
         A F#m Bm
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

      G Bm G D,A,D

yeah that is the original versions...lee performed it in a higher key so he used D,Bm,D,Bm,G,A but it is also exactly the same if u play what u suggested with a capo on the 2nd fret
