[Verse 1]
F Gm7
I really love to be alone without all the
F Gm7
Ache and pain and the April showers
F Gm7
It ain't long before I long for you
       F Gm7
Like a ray of hope comin' through the blues
F
When it all get darker there,
      Gm7
The whole thing falls apart I guess
   F
It doesn't matter about the rain,
                               Gm7
Cause we'll get through it any way
Gm7
We'll get up and start again

[Chorus]
                   G Am7 G
Cause we could be lifted, lifted, lifted
            G Am7 G
We could be lifted, from the shadows, lifted
                G Am7 G
Oh we could be, lifted up today, lifted all the way......you and I forever baby
G Am7 G
lifted, lifted, lifted

[Verse 2]

It's undisturbable the peace without in a

Bright blue space, up above the clouds

Everything is understandable

You don't have to say anything too loud

When our love runs out again

Drop back down to solid ground

I wouldn't say I was mad about the rain

But we'll get through it any way

We'll get back to the start again

[Chorus 2]

Cause we could be lifted, lifted, lifted
We could be lifted, from the shadows, lifted
Oh we could be, lifted up today, lifted all the way
You and I forever baby, lifted
Oh we could be, lifted
We could be, lifted
Hey yeah yay

There are chords missing at the end of the verse and also the chords in the chorus are the wrong place (each line is g/am7/g).

Not bad! I'm not sure about the unplugged one, but in the studio version the intro does have a "pedal point" in the bass line: G Am/G G5 G C/G G And throughout the verse: F Gm7/F F And the end chord is Gm7/C (we'll get up and start again) HTH!

I play in the Intro and Choruses G Am C G - I like the way it resolves. And for me it's F Gm through the verses and I hold on the F for that Pre-chorus line. The Gm7/C chord is good too.
