Intro riff (something like...): Em D-C G D-C G

       D - D/C-D/B-D/C-D - D/C-D/B-D/C-
Look around you, look up here,
 D - D/C - D/B - D/C - D -D/C-D/B-
Take time to make time, make time to be there
D/C - D -D/B-D/C-D/B-D D/C-D/B-D/C-
   Look around, be a part,
 D - D/C - D/B - D/C - D -D/C-D/B-D/A
Feel for the winter, but don't have a cold heart
        A A
And I love you best, you're not like the rest
                                                        NC ( D-D/C-D/B-D/C- )x2
You're there when I need you, you're there when I need, I'm gonna need you

   D - D/C - D/B - D/C - D -D/C-D/B-D/C-
A long time ago I had a lady to love
 G - G/D - G - G/D - D -D/C-D/B-D/A
She made me think of things I never thought of
 A - A/E - G - G/D D - D/C - D - D/C-
Now she's gone and I'm on my own, a love song has come into my mind
    D - D/C - D/B - D/C -D-D/C-D/B-D/A-
A love song it was there all the time

    G -G/D -G - G/D - D -D/A-D-D/A
So Lady, let me take a look at you now
         G - G/D - G - G/D - D-D/A-D-D/A
You're there on the dance floor, making me want you somehow
    G -G/D - G - G/D - D - D/C - D/B - D/A
Oh Lady, I think it's only fair, I should say to you
 A G - G/E -D-D/C-D/B-D/C-
Don't be thinkin' that I don't want you, 'cause maybe I do

Oh Lady, I think it's only fair, I should say to you
 A G - G/E -D-D/C-D/B-D/A
Don't be thinkin' that I don't want you, 'cause maybe I do
 A G - G/E - D-D/C-D/B-D/C-D
Don't be thinkin' that I don't want you, Lady I do

To thecitychicke1 - The D is the chord, played w/ no bass note. D/C is the D chord while playing the C on the bass, D/B is D chord with bass note B, then back to D/C (same as above,) then back to the D chord w/ no bass note. Hope this helps you a little. It took me a while to figure that out in the beginning of my music growth.
