KNEE DEEP AT ATP - Los Campesinos!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tabbed by: Ferdia
Email: ferdiad1@gmail.com

According to Los Campesinos! this is Gareth's Toni Braxton-esque over-sincere love ballad. Enjoy!

Tuning: EADGBe

Intro: E-G#m-F#m-A x4

  Riff 1
e|----------------------9----9-----------------------------14----14--------|
B|--9\5-5-5-5-5-5/9--12---12---12---12\7-7-7-7-7-7/14--17----17-----17-----|
G|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|x4

Verse: E-G#m-F#m-A

(Played quietly and slowly with picking, gradually getting louder during the verse)

E G#m F#m A
And every sentence that I spoke began and ended in ellipses,
E G#m F#m
Each of eight fingers gripping what he wrote, clung on tightly, like
A
parenthesis,
        E G#m F#m A
And for each correctly used apostrophe, I could feel my heart sink inside my

chest in front of me,
    E G#m F#m
So, maybe the lining of a winter's coat mightn't be the best place to hide a
       A
summer secret
         E G#m
You said every photo that you took that festival got lost in your camera in

an insurance scam,
    F#m A
And though underexposed, i could see from the quality, his K Records t-shirt

and you holding his hand
      E G#m
And I know he took you to the beach, I can tell from how you bite on your
       F#m A
cheek, every time the sand falls from your insoles
             E G#m F#m A
And when our eyes meet, all that I can read, is "you're the b-side".

Outro: E-G#m-F#m-A & Riff 1 x2 (Play fast, like intro)

                E G#m
They said "It's not what you like, it's what you're like as a person",
      F#m A
Well, I need new hobbies, that's one thing for certain.
                E G#m
"It's not what you like, it's what you're like as a person",
      F#m A E
Well, I need new hobbies, that's one thing for certain.

you sir are a hero this is one of my favourite songs on hold on now youngster and i've always wanted to play it. two little things though i've figured out how the picking goes with the chords but is it just me or does it sound like there is a note or two wrong when you pick the G#m and F#m positions. so if you could give me any insight into that i would be greatful.

also any idea what effect/pedal is used on the intro?

and one last thing keep the LC! tabs coming! :)
