He also does an addition on the C and Am chords on both the verse and the bridge to accompany the strumming. This addition would be the 4th finger on the 3rd fret of the B string.

Thanks for tabbing this, as my band wants me to learn it to play at an acoustic set. I find that you get that brighter sound out of the whole song that the recorded version has if you use your pinky finger to hold down the low e string at the third fret on most of the chords, it seems to work with all of them in it. Thanks for the tab!
