Dusty Trails - Lucius

[Verse 1]

E D A E
We've been gone for such a long time that I'm almost afraid to go home
E D A E
A long road is a long dragged out imagination where things can go wrong
                    B A E
But we keep rolling on

[Verse 2]

E D A E
I know i'm no doctor but if I was guessing I'd say it was just growing pains
E D A E
Painful as growing is we can't forget it's our ticket to taking the reigns
                  B A E
And we'll all be ok
         D A E
We'll be ok

[Chorus]

E A Amaj7 A
Dusty trails can lead you to a golden road I've been told
               E B
Can't remember who it was but all she spoke
       A E B C#m
Will a penny for her thoughts leave me broke
      A E B C#m
Cause everyone's around and I'm still alone
 A E B E
Everyone's around right now and I'm still alone

[Verse 3]

E D A E
It's all a manual that we've been writing a future instructional guide
E D A E
If we skipped ahead to our pre-fulfilled dreams we'd be lost without our own advice
            B A E
We'll be alright
            D A E
We'll be alright

[Chorus]

E A Amaj7 A

[Bridge]

E A
I'm half way to misery
A E B A
Some say when you go half way there's still plenty of time to return
      E Amaj7
Oh am I half way to heaven here
              A E A B A
Some may say when you go half way you only have half way to go

Thanks for the tab! I think the Amaj7 at the end of each chorus line might actually be a C#m.

I felt so sad when I came here, 'cause I saw that "broken road". But hey! It actually does say GOLDEN road, I wasn't mistaken and my optimism is restored. S, please edit. This way no one else will find themselves in the same situation where you come looking for relief and you find the broken road. Really, it just it changes completely the meaning of the song and it's such a beautiful one.
