Tale of the Tongues (Cover by Malukah)
Capo on 4th fret

Em D Am Em
Alduin's wings, they did darken the sky.
    Em D C Em
His roar fury's fire and his scales sharpened scythes.
    Em D Am Em
Men ran and they cowered and they fought and they died.
     Em D Am Em
They burned and they bled as they issued their cries.

Em
Dovahkiin Dovahkiin naal ok zin los vahriin
Wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal
Ahrk fin norok paal graan fod nust hon zindro zaan
Dovahkiin fah hin kogaan mu draal

          Em D Am Em
We need saviors to free us from Alduin's rage.
Em D C Em
Heroes on the field of this new war to wage.
       Em D Am Em
And if Alduin wins man is gone from this world.
G C Em D
Lost in the shadow of the black wings unfurled.

    G D C C
But then came the Tongues on that terrible day.
G D C Em
Steadfast as winter, they entered the fray.
    G D C Em
And all heard the music of Alduin's doom.
    G C D A7
The sweet song of Skyrim, sky-shattering Thu'um.

    C D Em
And so the Tongues freed us from Alduin's rage.
         C D Em G
Gave the gift of the Voice, ushered in a new Age.
   C D Em A7
If Alduin is eternal, then eternity's done.
        C Em D Em
For his story is over and the dragons... are gone.

Hey Malu, I'm fairly new to the guitar and I am really confused here.

I wanna play the first part of the song instead of learning only strumming, do I refer to the chords here and play around with it or its not here. I really like the picking part.

Thanks!

most of the time you would play around the chords, but as you probably hear in her cover, she does have transistions between some chords which only make it sound cooler

you would normally play around the chords, but you have probably heard that in the cover she uses transistions between chords, this just makes it cooler.
