He's does some pull offs and hammer ons on upstrokes. For F, it's the A (2nd fret) on
the G-string. For A7, it's the C# (1st Fret) on the C-string. For C7, it's the A# (1st
Fret) on the A-string.
At the tail end of the A7, he's hammering on the A# (1st Fret) on the A-string and the F
(1st Fret) on the E-string.

Actually ever verse goes to D minor right before the refrain (eg the heart’s a motherfucker etc)

I like the tab but I play stuff a little differently. Pretty much the same chords but just slight adjustments.
Instead of doing A7 with just the one finger chord I like to keep the 2 from the F chord. Not sure what this chord would be called exactly.
A||------------||
E||------------||
C||--1---------||
G||--2---------||
I also like to add this occasional little fill in between choruses/verses
A||-5--3--1---0---||
E||---------------||
C||---------------||
G||---------------||
Like I said its not too different but someone else might like it too.

Oh I forgot to add that instead of the C to C7 I do something slightly different. Sounds kinda right but I know its not what they play.A||-----1------1------1---||E||-----------------------||C||--1--1--11--1--11--11--||G||--2--2--22--2--22--22--||Its the A7 + the 2nd fret. You just kinda strum-upstrum while throwing in the 1 on the A string every third strum or so.
