                Gm Eb D F Gm Eb D F
Am I supposed to close my eyes as you walk away from me

Gm D Eb F Gm Eb D F
Am I supposed to blind myself so i'll never have to see

Gm Eb D F Gm Eb D F
You walking side by side with a different kind of man

Gm Eb D F Gm Eb
Who'll redefine your body in ways i know i...

D C Bb A D C Bb A
What if i don't want to go now?
D C Bb A D C Bb
Will you come put these eyes out?

(For fill use high octaves of Eb)

                 Gm Eb D F Gm Eb D F
So don't go and blame your mother for what's your father's fault

Gm Eb D F Gm Eb D F
Or all of your daughters will turn out just like you

Gm Eb D F Gm Eb D F
Bent on destruction and burning through their beauty

Gm Eb F D Gm Eb
And looking beyond their years by the time they're only...

D C Bb A D C Bb A
What if I don't want to go now?

D C Bb A D C Eb
Will you come put these eyes out?

This part is just all Eb to Ebadd6 till the song fades out
Listen to find the timing.
G-8--8
D-8--10
A-6--6

Oh c'est la vie please don't go and abandon me
When the bridge burns down and the bad blood tastes like wine on the wind
Beware of the man in shades beware
Beware of the man in shades beware
I stutter step my way across desert lakes to try and sweat the ghost of the past
So I can lay my anchor at last at your feet
Beware of the man in shades beware
Beware of the man in shades Beware
I am the man in shades
Yes I am, I am the man in shades
Yes I am, I am the man in shades
Yes I am...

Sorry, but this just isn't right. You definitely have the chords switching twice as often as they are supposed to, but apart from that, it isn't the right chord progression. Thanks, anyway though.

I think actually works.

listen to the bass then tell me the chords switch half as fast. I thought the same thing about the pace of the chords but what happens from g minor to Eb (Major 7) is that the bass note moves down a third from G minor (which is a first inversion Eb without the root) to the Eb Major 7 chord. the second part though seems to be a D major to an F/D major. So it could be construed as a Eb for 2 beats and D for 2 beats with an altered bass note on beat 4 or It could be thought of as 4 seperate chords.

Either way what this guy wrote helped me memorize the song a lot faster. And any choices I make in how to play the song end up being neat changes that I enjoy playing.

Thanks.
