Tuning: Standard

[Verse 1]
C G Am F G
I'll always remember, it was late afternoon
C G Am F G
It lasted forever and ended so soon

[Pre-Hook]
C G Am
You were all by yourself staring up at a dark gray sky
F G C
I was changed

[Chorus]
C G
In places no one would find
                      Am F G
All your feelings so deep inside
C G
Was then that I realized
                 Am
That forever was in your eyes
    F G C
The moment I saw you cry

[Verse 2]
C G
It was late in september
Am F G
And I've seen you before
C G
You were always the cold one
Am F G
But i was never that sure

[Pre-Hook]
C G
You were all by yourself
                Am
Staring up at a dark gray sky
F G C
I was changed

[Chorus]
C G
In places no one would find
                     Am F G
All your feelings so deep inside
C G
Was then that I realized
                  Am
That forever was in your eyes
    F G C
The moment I saw you cry

[Bridge]
C G
I wanted to hold you
            Am F

Pretty good, but I don't get why you go back to G (and sometimes add a C too) so much? Is there a particular way that's supposed to be played?

Am/C should be Dm and the last C before Bridge should be Am then straight to G 😊
