Tabbed by JJbozzokid Magsajo
Capo on 9th or 4th fret.
I prefer it on 9th

[Verse 1]

          G D C
When your tears are spent, on your last pretense

         G D C
and your tired eyes refuse to close and sleep in your defense

          G D C
when it's in your spine, like you've walked for miles

        G D C
and the only thing you want is just to be still for a while

[Pre-Chorus]

G D Em C
oh eh, oh eh, oh ewwwww oh eh, oh eh, oh ewwwww

[Chorus]

        G D
if your heart wears thin i will hold you up

     Em C
and i will hide you when it gets too much.

          G D
i'll be right beside you.

          Em C
i'll be right beside you.

[Verse 2]

G D C G
when you're overwhelmed and you've lost your breath when the space between

    D C
the things you know is blurry nonetheless.

         G D C
when you try to speak but you make no sound

        G D
and the words you want are out of reach

            C
but they've never been so loud.

[Chorus]

            G D
and if your heart wears thin i will hold you up

     Em C
and i will hide you when it gets too much.

          G D
i'll be right beside you.

         Em C
i'll be right beside you.

       G D Em C
I will stay, nobody will break you

[Bridge]

Em G C
trust in me, trust in me, don't pull away.

EM G C
just trust in me trust in me

Em C Em D
i'm just trying to keep this together, because i could do worse and you
could do better

repeat 2 lines of VERSE 1:
          G D C
When your tears are spent on your last pretense.

          G D C
and your tired eyes refuse to close and sleep in you defence.

[Chorus]

        G D
if your heart wears thin i will hold you up

     Em C
and i will hide you when it gets too much.

          G D
i'll be right beside you.

            Em C
nobody will break you

[Chorus]

        G D
if your heart wears thin i will hold you up

     Em C
and i will hide you when it gets too much.

          G D
i'll be right beside you.

            Em C
nobody will break you

Would it not just be easier to take it down 9 half steps and play E B C#m A etc with no capo? Your way works, I just find Capo 9 a little annoying.
Anyway, great tabbing :)
