Into the fire (Acoustic)
By: Marilyn Manson
From: The High End of Low (Bonus Disc)

This is the way I play this song solo acoustic.
Unless your trying to sing all throaty and morose like Manson this way fits
most voices the best for performing the song.
I'm not a purist but this sounds good to me.

Capo 3

CHORDS RELATIVE TO CAPO
   Dm A7 G7 Bb/F Csus2/G G Bb
---1----0-----1-----X----------------3-------3--------1----------------------

---2----0-----0-----3----------------5-------4--------3----------------------
---0----2-----0-----3----------------5-------5--------3----------------------
---X----0-----2-----1----------------3-------5--------1----------------------
---X----X-----3-----1----------------3-------3--------X----------------------

Verse 1

Dm - A7 - G7 - Bb/F
This is the film, close to the third act and the misery
It's not rain, you rapist werewolves
This is God pissing down on you

Dm - A7 - G7 - Bb/F
We won't die alone
Cause I'll break off my own arms
Sharpen my bones
Stab you once for each time I thought of you

Dm - A7 - G7 - Bb/F
Trying to take something
You'll never be good enough to even look upon

Bridge G7 - Bb/F
It's better to push something away that's slipping
Than to risk being dragged down

Chorus Dm - Csus2/G - G (Bar) - Bb
If you want to hit bottom
Don't bother to try taking me with you
I won't answer if you call
Two heartbeats ahead in hell
Trying to break your fall

Play Verse

Verse 2
Dm - A7 - G7 - Bb/F
This isn't a mob, won't need to change the names
Everyone around you
Has murdered someone, something sacred

Dm - A7 - G7 - Bb/F
Isn't one nail without dirt under it
Isn't any white cotton panties that aren't soaked and stained red

Bridge G7 - Bb/F
It's better to push something away that's slipping
Than to risk being dragged down

Chorus Dm - Csus2/G - G (Bar) - Bb
If you want to hit bottom
Don't bother to try taking me with you
I won't answer if you call
Two heartbeats ahead in hell
Trying to break your fall

Solo (Acoustic plays Chorus Progression)

Outro (REPEAT TILL END): Play Chorus progression while lead guitar continues to riff

Dm - Csus2/G - G (Bar) - Bb
Into the fire
Into the fire
Into the fire
Into the fire
Into the fire
Into the fire

You can continue the progression till the end like on the record.
In live settings I've found I like going back into the bridge one more time
and ending on that.

It is not an ukulele tab as wrote in the title, but it's clearly an acoustic guitar tab, even if it is a good one the title should be changed
