[Verse 1]
G Em
It was bound to happen and it happened today

Life turned to us to say "I'm about to go your way"
           G Em
And it's a simple situation now that we became us
      A7 D7
There ain't no rust on the happiness bus
         G Em
And it's Wednesday, Thursday, my day, Friday
A7 D7
Saturday, Sunday, all the rest are fun days
G Em
From now on until the very end
A7 D7 G
Never gonna spend another day without you again

Here's the proof, i'm telling the truth and it's

We're keepin it, keepin it, keepin it real

[Verse 2]
        G Em
Now the sun is going down over our troubled times
       A7 D7
We can free our minds and leave it all behind and
       G Em
It's a common stipulation that there ain't no hope
              A7 D7
But there's a tire swing baby on the end of our rope
         G Em
And it's Wednesday, Thursday, my day, Friday
A7 D7

I guess that would work... but mason always tunes 1/2 down. I think the sound of open chords sounds better for this song, but oh well. Great tab.

these chords sound perfect if you play them as bar chords. your bar moves from the 3rd fret, to 7th, then to 5th. i think it sounds fine without changing from standard tuning. G: 355433 Em: 779987 A7: 575655 E7: 557575
