Album: more than you think you are
Tabbed by JBravo20

This is my first tab on a song, so don't complain if it's wrong.
Just send an e-mail to JBravo20@earthlink.net so I can correct this.

In my humble opinion, I find it better if you just start out with the
bass notes on the first verse and pre-chorus, then softly play the first chorus,
afterward play the second verse on with a louder tone, kinda like the CD.

[Verse 1]

E B (there's A C# note right before the F#m)
   SHE GOT OUT OF TOWN
F#m A
ON A RAILWAY NEW YORK BOUND
E B
   TOOK ALL EXCEPT MY NAME
B-C-C# B A
    ANOTHER ALIEN ON BROADWAY

[Pre-Chorus]

E
THERE'S SOME THINGS IN THIS WORLD
               B
YOU JUST CAN'T CHANGE
F#
   SOME THINGS YOU CAN'T SEE
         A
UNTIL IT GETS TOO LATE

[Chorus]

E
BABY, BABY, BABY
              F#m
WHEN ALL YOUR LOVE IS GONE

WHO WILL SAVE ME
     A E
FROM ALL I'M UP AGAINST OUT IN THIS WORLD

MAYBE, MAYBE, MAYBE
            F#m
YOU'LL FIND SOMETHING

THAT'S ENOUGH TO PLEASE YOU
           A
BUT IF THE BRIGHT LIGHTS DON'T RECEIVE YOU
        B
YOU CAN TURN YOURSELF AROUND
            E
AND COME ON HOME

I GOT A HOLE IN ME NOW
I GOT A SCAR I CAN TALK ABOUT
SHE KEEPS A PICTURE OF ME
IN HER APARTMENT IN THE CITY

SOME THINGS IN THIS WORLD
THEY DON'T MAKE SENSE
SOME THINGS YOU DON'T NEED
UNTIL THEY LEAVE YOU
AND THEY'RE THINGS THAT YOU MISS

[Chorus]

E
BABY, BABY, BABY
              F#m
WHEN ALL YOUR LOVE IS GONE

WHO WILL SAVE ME
     A E
FROM ALL I'M UP AGAINST OUT IN THIS WORLD

MAYBE, MAYBE, MAYBE
            F#m
YOU'LL FIND SOMETHING

THAT'S ENOUGH TO PLEASE YOU
           A
BUT IF THE BRIGHT LIGHTS DON'T RECEIVE YOU
        B
YOU CAN TURN YOURSELF AROUND
            E
AND COME ON HOME

[Bridge]

C#m B A A-B
LET THAT CITY TAKE YOU IN
C#m B A A-B
LET THAT CITY SPIT YOU OUT
C#m B A
LET THAT CITY TAKE YOU DOWN
(no chord)
FOR GOD'S SAKE TURN AROUND

[Instrumental]

E-F#m-A-E

[Chorus]

E
BABY, BABY, BABY
              F#m
WHEN ALL YOUR LOVE IS GONE

WHO WILL SAVE ME
     A E
FROM ALL I'M UP AGAINST OUT IN THIS WORLD

MAYBE, MAYBE, MAYBE
            F#m
YOU'LL FIND SOMETHING

THAT'S ENOUGH TO PLEASE YOU
           A
BUT IF THE BRIGHT LIGHTS DON'T RECEIVE YOU, YEAH
B B
         TURN YOURSELF AROUND
            E A
AND COME ON HOME

[Outro]

E-A and Ad-Lib to fade

Your Tab is correct except the chorus is not E F#m A E. It's E D A E. The F#m in the verses is right though. GOOD job other than that one chord. :) I was Waiting forever for someone to tab this song and finally Started figuring it out myself. I was getting it really good too then I looked and saw that yours was up.

The F#m that is written here in the chorus should be a simple D chord...try it...it should sound more natural
