i looooove this song! i think it'll prolly be the next big matchbox 20 hit. i
tried tabbing this song at first but couldn't get it quite right--so credit to
Tersha Buswell for tabbing this out right (www.mxtabs.com) first, and i just made
some minor adjustments to make it a bit more accurate. here it is:

E|-----------------------

INTRO (x2)

VERSE 1:

C E Am
Something is wrong with the sum of us
F C G
That I can't seem to erase
C E Am
How can I be the only one
F C G
Without a smile on my face, well now

CHORUS:

                   F
You're lauging out loud
            G Am
At just the thought of being alive
          F
And I was wondering
        G C
Could I just be you tonight

INTRO (x1)

VERSE 2:

C E Am
You show your pain like it really hurts
F C G
And I can't even start to feel mine
C E
Well I'm standing in place
        Am
With my head first I shake, I shake
F C G
And I see your progress stretched out for miles, and miles

CHORUS:

                       F
And you're lauging out loud
            G Am
At just the thought of being alive
          F
And I was wondering
        G C
Could I just be you tonight

BRIDGE:

            E Am
This is the sound that I make
F E Am
These are the words I chose
F E Am
Somehow the right thing to say
F
Just won't come out
F
Just won't come out

CHORUS:

F F
And you're laughing out loud
       G Am
At the thought of being alive
          F
And I was wondering
        G Am
Could I just be you tonight
          F
And I was wondering
        G C
Could I just be you tonight

OUTRO:

C
na, na, na,
Eb5
na, na, na, na,
F5 C
na, na, na, na, na
(And I was wondering)
C

Eb5
na, na, na, na,
F5 C
na, na, na, na, na
(And I was wondering)

F5 C
