[Intro]

C G/B Am F (x2)

[Verse 1]

         C G/B Am F
She said I don't know if I've ever been good enough, I'm a little bit rusty
 C G/B Am F
And I think my head is caving in
    C G/B Am F
And I don't know if I've ever been really loved, by a hand that's touched me
C G/B Am F
And I feel like something's gonna give, and I'm a little bit angry
G F
Oh well, this ain't over, no not here
                             G
Not while I still need you around, you don't owe me,
           F G C
We might change, yeah, we just might feel good

[Chorus]

         G F G C
I wanna push you around, well I will, well I will
         G F G Am
I wanna push you down, well I will, well I will
         G F G Am G F
I wanna take you for granted, I wanna take you for granted
 G C G/B Am F C G/B Am F
Yeah well I will, I will

[Verse 2]

          C G/B Am F
She said "I don't know why you ever would lie to me, like I'm a little untrusting
 C G/B Am F
When I think that the truth is gonna hurt ya
    C G/B Am F
And I don't know why you couldn't just stay with me, you couldn't stand to be near me
 C G/B Am F
When my face don't seem to want to shine, cause it's a little bit dirty"
G F
Well, don't just stand there, and say nice things to me
                                G
I've been cheated, I've been wronged and you, you don't owe me,
              F G C
yeah well I can't change, I won't do anything at all

[Chorus]

         G F G C
I wanna push you around, well I will, well I will
         G F G Am
I wanna push you down, well I will, well I will
         G F G Am G F G Am
I wanna take you for granted, I wanna take you for granted, yeah well I will

[Verse 3]
                           F Dm
Oh but don't bowl me over, just wait a minute
                    Am G N.C.
Well I kinda-fell-apart, things get so crazy, crazy
Am F Dm F G G C
Don't rush this baby Don't rush this baby, baby...

[Outro/Chorus]

         G F G C
I wanna push you around, well I will, well I will
         G F G Am
I wanna push you down, well I will, well I will
         G F G Am G F
I wanna take you for granted, I wanna take you for granted
        G C G/B Am F C G/B Am F
Yeah I will, I will,

I'm psyched about your tabs! I notice you use the G/B quite a bit. What fingering do you use for that, say in this song specifically? X20003, or...? Thank you, Tim!

I try to follow the bass line when writing out the songs, and they often use the G/B to connect a C-chord to an Am (or they use a D/F# to connect G and Em for example). My preference for a G/B is to use X20033 more often than x20003, but that's just my preference. That's the one I use here.

Just for reference, if you transpose these to other keys (where you don't have access to the open strings), then I usually use an abbreviated fingering for this inversion that would be essentially x2000x or x2543x but shifted up the neck.

Thanks for the feedback!

Seriously good tip for me on those slash chords. I will now be able to fill in that little step between the chords that is often so essential! Up to now I'd kind of been isolating the string listed after the slash (like F#) and plucking it, and then hitting the rest of the strings (like the D), and it sounded amateuresque. But now thinking of that bass line connecting all the notes -- fantastic. Thanks, Tim!
