[Intro]
A A9 A4 A (A9 A)<--play this only if you're fast enough
A A9 A4 A (A9 A) F#m

[Verse 1]
  A
Every day feels like a Monday

There is no escaping from the heartache
             F#m
Now I wanna put it back together

Coz it's always better late than never
                  D
Wishing I could be in California

I wanna tell you when I call ya
                  A
  I could've fallen in love

I wish I'd fallen in love

[Pre-Chorus]
  D E F#m
Out of our minds and out of time
                          D
Wishing I could be with you
               E
  To share the view

[Chorus]
  E A
We could have fallen in love
  A A9 A4 A (A9 A)
Woah oh woah oh oh (x2)

[Verse 2]
  A
  Waking up to people talking

And it's getting later every morning
            F#m
And I realise it's nearly midday

And I've waisted half my life to throw it away
              D
Saying everyday should be a new day

To make you smile I found a new way
         A
  I've fallen in love

  I could've fallen in love

[Pre-Chorus]
  D E F#m
Out of our minds and of time

Wishing I could be with you
               E
  To share the view
