Em
Never was a navy brat
C

G
Warned (*or TAUGHT) me not to make
D

Em
My love rests in a shipwreck
C
with a compass in his hand
G D
Wait for him, your soldiers, we were running.

C G
Send the wind down
                 D
I hear his voice now

at the bottom of the blue
C G D
I'll get my coat, it'll be the second coming

outside when I return with you

G Em
I'm a ship like you,
           C
One sail, One sea
D
You and me
Em G
And I left my soul,
        C
next to the shore
D
One sail, One sea

Em C G D

   Em
I--I was with my facing sun
C
that makes me look less young
G D
Miss you, have Irish grin and
Em
our love is growing upside down
C G
They say, you'll never make it home
                            D
but I will wait home, very dark road

C G D
Send the wind down I hear him (INSERT UNKNOWN WORD HERE) now

because he is to me my life

G Em
I'm a ship like you,
           C

For the chorus, it should go G Em C D throughout. There's a mistake.

Em G
And I left my soul,

should be swtiched to

G Em
And I left my soul,

guest
