E A2 E A2 E C#m7 A2

[Verse 1]
     E A2
Your in a better place, I've heard a thousand times
       E A2
And at least a thousand times I've rejoiced for you
        D2 Bsus
But the reason why I'm broken, the reason why I cry
        A2 Bsus E
Is how long must I wait to be with you

[Chorus]
E A2
I close my eyes and I see your face
   Bsus E Bsus
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
                C#m7 Bsus A2
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
     Bsus A2 E E A2 Bsus A2
I've never been more homesick than now

[Verse 2]
E A2
Help me Lord cause I don't understand your ways
    Bsus A2
The reason why, I wonder if I'll ever know
     D2 Bsus
But, even if you showed me the hurt would be the same
  E A2 Bsus E E
Cause I'm still here so far away from home

[Chorus]
E A2
I close my eyes and I see your face
   Bsus E Bsus
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
                C#m7 Bsus
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
     Bsus A2 D
I've never been more homesick than now

[Bridge]
   Bsus A2
In Christ, there are no goodbyes
       Bsus A2
And in Christ, there is no end
        Bsus C#m7
So I'll hold on to Jesus with all that I have
       F#m Bsus
To see you again, to see you again

[Last Chorus:]
E A2
I close my eyes and I see your face
   C#m7 Bsus A2
If home's where my heart is than I'm out of place
                E A2
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
          Bsus A2
Won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
                E A2
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
     Bsus A2 E
I've never been more homesick than now

Awesome! 5 stars. But after the verses, I don't know if it's just me or what, but I think it sounds better leaving that Bsus out after the verses and the outro. I do it both ways but I keep just playing E, A2 and E again. Sounds great both ways though. Keep tabbing guys! Ya'll rock!

The key to this song - is tuning all strings DOWN two fret, lose the capo and playing in G major.
