First Verse
Memories and drinks don't mix too well.
                                           Bb Bb A Ab G G7
Jukebox records don't play those wedding bells.
Lookin' at the world through the bottom of a glass,
                                  F C7
All I see is a man who's fading fast.

Second Verse
Tonight I need that woman again.
                                        Bb Bb A Ab G G7
What I'd give for my baby to just walk in.

Sit down beside me and say: "It's alright.

                                         F C7
Take me home and make sweet love to me tonight.

F F7/A Bb Gm7
But here I am again, mixin' misery and gin.
             C9 C13 F
Sittin' with all my friends and talkin' to myself.
  Bb A7sus A7 Dm Dm/C Bm7b5
I look like I'm havin' a good time but any foo-ool can tell,
F/C Gm7 C13 F C7
That this Honky Tonk Heaven really makes ya' fee--el like hell.

Optional solo over verse chords

Third Verse
I light a lonely womans cigarette,
                                           Bb Bb A Ab G G7
We start talkin' 'bout what we want to forget.
Her life story and mine are the same.
                                                 F C7
We both lost someone and only have ourselves to blame.

Repeat Chorus

The software here doesn't recognize the Bm7b5. It may have recognized a Dm6 which is in fact the same chord, however since the bass line is walking D to C to B I felt calling it Bm7b5 instead of Dm6 was the better choice. I play that first string first fret, Second and Fourth strings open, Third and Fifth strings second fret. I do not use the sixth string. The C9's and C13's add some subtle color but can easily be replaced for C7's to make the sone easier to finger.
Let me know what you guys think this is the first song I have uploaded. I was not happy with the different versions I found on the web and although I certainly learned quite alot from them I felt most lacked some of the depth that makes this such an amazing song.

Some of the chords sound really odd to me. Also, instead of Bb A Ab G G7, it is WAY easier to do A# A G# G... Just my personal opinion.
