THis version is simpler than some others and slightly more complex than others. I like to utilize 7ths and minors for a little flair. I also included an Outro that I thought sounded nice. Blessings. Was this info helpful?

Precious Lord, Take My Hand – Thomas Andrew Dorsey

[Verse 1]
        G G7
Precious Lord, take my hand,
        C Am
Lead me on, let me stand,
     G A D D7
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn;
            G G7
Through the storm, through the night,
        C Am
Lead me on to the light:

[Refrain]
        G D7
Take my hand, precious Lord,
        G C G
Lead me home.

[Verse 2]
G G7
When my way grows drear,
         C Am
Precious Lord linger near
        G A D D7
When my light is almost gone
        G G7
Hear my cry, hear my call
        C Am
Hold my hand lest I fall

[Refrain]
        G D7
Take my hand, precious Lord,
        G C G
Lead me home.

[Verse 3]
G G7
When the darkness appears,
        C Am
And the night draws near
        G A D D7
And the day is past and gone
       G G7
At the river I stand
         C Am
Guide my feet, hold my hand

[Refrain]
        G D7
Take my hand, precious Lord,
        G C G
Lead me home.

[Outro]

(A little slower)

        G D7
Take my hand, precious Lord,
        C G
Lead me home.

Good tab. I use a Cm instead of Am and A7 instead of an A. I think these chords gives the song a more blues feel.
