Alternatively you can play instead of in Chorus, not like in original but sounds better imo.

_ Toss a coin to your Witcher- i think is better use C not D
And so cried the Witcher
He can’t be bleat-and here add E at the last. But is only my opinion:)

Does anyone have the strumming pattern for the song?

This is not an exact copy of the song, but a close. Also, I suspect the original is at least partly played on an actual lute, so getting the chord tone to be right is hard. That said, I think you can make it sound more like the original with:
- playing it with a capo on 6th fret and transposing it down 5 steps, which results in a higher tone closer to the orignal (And perhaps the lute)
- muting the E4 string in the first D major in the verse, and playing the further D major chords with an open E4 string (analogously with the capo on the 6th fret for the transposed A major cord, just with the B string)
- with the capo on 6th fret, the D major chord (G major before transposition) sounds better with an open E4 string
For the 6th fret capo only - for the picking part after the first verse, I suggest the pattern to start at 2-2-0 on the D-G-B strings, alternating the B and G strings with the D in between, then as the chords progress, go down to 0-2-0, then to 3---2-0 on the A---G-B strings, and back up. At the end of the verse and before resolving to the new 2-2-0, go 1-2-0 for a moment or two, as the rhythm commands. If you listen closely to the original, you'll get the details.
