Hi there and Happy Holidays:)

Because there are different ways of singing this song I found a link to the version
of the song that I know and how I tabbed it. It's Ann Murray singing- and other
than a key change she does just for 2 verses in the middle- to be fancy I guess;) it's
the same. It will give those who think this tab is worth a 1 star rating a heads up-

"Hey! This is tabbed to THIS version of "Away in A Manger" and it's good, lol!

Feel free to send me a link of how you know the song and I'll tab that version too;)
But this tab with that link- 5 stars ;) lol! (And never do these 'Low raters' ever
come back to change their rating after I've explained this to them on their wall. How
bah-humbug of them!!

G* [x55430] -a regular G can be played [320033] but I just like this subtle change.
Am/D [xx0210]

Standard Tuning w/
Capo on 3 (Because I know you didn't read it- Take 30 sec's and
read the note above if you think this tab is wrong.)

 G G* Am
Away in a manger, No crib for a bed,
    D G Am Am7 C D
The little Lord Jesus, Lay down His sweet head.

    G G* Am
The stars in the bright sky, Looked down where He lay
    D G Am Am7 Am/D G
The little Lord Jesus, Asleep on the hay

    G G* Am
The cattle are lowing, the poor baby wakes
    D G Am Am7 C D
But little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes

  G G* Am
I love Thee, Lord Jesus, Look down from the sky
    D G Am Am7 Am/D G
And stay by my cradle, 'til morning is nigh

   G G* Am
Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay
      D G Am Am7 C D
Close by me forever, And love me I pray

      G G* Am
Bless all the dear children, In Thy tender care
    D G Am Am7 Am/D G
And take us to heaven, To live with Thee there

Have fun! And come on peeps, lets get this back up to 5 stars :)
Happy Holidays!
