Djacob1 and inimitable - this tab is definitely in g#... the chord progression is V - IV - bVII - I practically the whole song and that's what this tab is for in the key of g#. Anyone who knows basic music theory would know that. The flat major VII my have been what was throwing you off, but that's very common in rock. Check out some Journey or even Switchfoot and you will see it all over the place. Nicely done on the tab, not exact, but definitely playable.
