C        G7          C      G7        C          Cmaj7   F      C
I d lie awake every night,      just knowing somewhere deep inside;

It starts the day you came; and it ends the day, you, leave.

I have made a few changes to your version, at the end of the first line I play F, Am Dm7. To me it follows the song. Before the bridge of "I was alone" I go from C, G7, back to C and walk the base line done to Am. Try it and tell me what you think, kindly...lol

There something to it, but it needs a lot of work, especially in the chorus/bridge. I'll see if I can spend a little time on it ... it's a pretty song.

Hi Boewolf, I really like the way Neil Diamong sings, one of the best. I submitted another of his songs some time ago and it was rejected, I have absolutely no idea why, there is not another version on UG. It was a duet - You don't bring me flowers by Neil and Barbara Streisand, A really beautiful song. Thanks, John S.
