Faboloso: the wrong chord is C not G btw, and I agree that C chord is on 8th fret not the 7th.

It's highly subjective to say "sounds better barred." I do believe this is Chris Martin playing open chords in the recording. I play this song with various inversions and in my opinion, if you're playing this song in its original key, just barre an Am and play the rest open. Once again, very subjective, but on my guitars, I'm really looking for open strings ringing out to replicate the recording.

good tab, but i agree with the flaw of the "die die die" part (hehe)
otherwise, i find it easier to play C as 335553, as it is easier to change to the G, 355433, than going up and down the fretboard all the time!
