LAYOUT

[Verse one]
People should smile more
Im not saying theres nothing to cry for but you've got
Everything laid out for you
Just close your eyes, take a deep breath and start another war

[Bridge 1]
Keep buying, keep moving, this city, is sitting,
next to me, well laid out, it's gona come, one thing is certain

Chorus (see further up the page)

[Verse 2]
People should smile more
But the lights are so bright that they blind you, just one more
Meaningless scientific break through
The more we know, the less we care whilst damaged on the way

Bridge 2 (THE SAME MELODY AS BRIDGE 1)
Keep moving, keep buying, this city, is sitting
Next to me, well laid out, it's gona come, one thing is certain

[Chorus]

Bridge 3 (See further up the page)

Chorus x2

play chorus melody once more without singing.

pretty good - but i reckon the intro could be improved, here's what I reckon. The very last bit still isn't quite right (on the 7th and 9th frets) so if anyone can get it spot on it'd be great! Note the 6h7 right at the end - sooo much better than a 5h7... [tab] E-----3------------------------------------3----------------------------------------------| B-----3------------------------------------3----------------------------------------------| G------------------------5-----5-5h7p5----------------------------5-----5-------7---------| D----------------------4-------5-5h7p5--5-----------------------4---------5-------7-------| A--------------5h7p5-5----5s7----------7-------------5-x-7p5--5-----5s7-----7s9-----------| E--3-----3-3s7----------------------------3-----3-3s7-------------------------------6h7-3-| [/tab] cartoonhippo is correct - in the verse a simpler version is played g1st is another way of writing G/B (G with a B note in the bass). Here the easiest way to play it is x20033 i.e. a G chord but don't play the bass string, leaving B (2nd fret on the A string) as the lowest note.

in the verse he doesnt do the intro, i think he does this: E-----3---------------------------------| B-----3---------------------------------| G------------------------5-----5-----5--| D----------------------4-------5-----5--| A--------------5h7p5-5----5s7-----7-----| E--3-----3-3s7--------------------------| good tab anyway tho. (also could someone tab the picking in the chorus, that would be much appreciated)
