E Bsus C#m7 A2 E Bsus A2

VERSE 1
        E Bsus
The gate is wide
                  C#m7 A2
The road is paved to moderation
         E Bsus C#m7 A2
The crowd is kind and quick to pull you in
      E Bsus
Welcome to the middle ground
     C#m7 A2
It's safe and sound and
  E Bsus C#m7 A2
Until now it's where I've been
                    C#m7
Cuz it's been fear
                                   Bsus
That ties me down to everything
                   C#m7
But it's been love, Your love
        A2 Bsus
That cuts the strings

CHORUS
      E Bsus
So long, status quo
 C#m7 A2
I think I've just let go
  E Bsus A2 E Bsus
You make me wanna be brave
        E Bsus
The way it always was
    C#m7 A2
It's no longer good enough

  E Bsus A2
You make me wanna be brave
E Bsus A2
            Brave,
E Bsus A2
            Brave

VERSE 2
E Bsus
I am small
          C#m7 A2
And I speak when I'm spoken to
E Bsus C#m7 A2
But I am willing to risk it all
      E Bsus
To say Your name
                C#m7 A2
Just Your name, and I'm ready to go
E Bsus A2
Even ready to fall
           C#m7 Bsus
Why did I take this foul compromise
          C#m7 A2 Bsus
Why did I try to keep it all inside

CHORUS

BRIDGE
 G# C#m7
I've never known a fire that didn't begin with a flame
 G# C#m7
And every storm will start with just a drop of rain
                 A2
But if You believe in me
                       Bsus
That changes everything

CHORUS

Pretty good...try it on Capo 2; it's a little easier to play...

Only things I saw are you have too many 7th chords (there are only two...one in the pre-chorus, and a Maj7 ending the bridge)...

Oh, and the lyrics in the second pre-chorus are, "Why did I take this vow of compromise?", not, "foul compromise."

Otherwise, nice work!

Let me clarify the capo thing...just in case...capo 2, but in the "D shape." I think it sounds even better playing with a partial capo (open low E) to simulate Drop D...but that's me. ;)
