PARASITE
As recorded by Nick Drake
(From the 1972 Album PINK MOON)
[Intro]
E7 E6 E
[Verse 1]
E7 E6
Lifting the mask from a local clown
E
Feeling down like him
E7 E6
Seeing the light in a station bar
E
And travelling far in sin
E7 E6
Sailing downstairs to the northern line
E
Watching the shine of the shoes
E7 E6
Hearing the trials of the people there
E
Who's to care if they lose?
[Chorus]
Fmaj7 E
Take a look, you may see me on the ground
Fmaj7 E
For I am the parasite of this town
[Verse 2]
E7 E6
Dancing a jig in a church with chimes
E
A sign of the times today
E7 E6
Hearing no bell from the steeple tall
E
People all in dismay
E7 E6
Falling so far on a silver spoon
E
Making the moon for fun
E7 E6
Changing a rope for a size too small
E
People all get hung
[Chorus]
Fmaj7 E
Take a look, you may see me coming through
Fmaj7 E
For I am the parasite who travels two-by-two
[Verse 3]
E7 E6
When I'm lifting the mask from a local clown
E
And feeling down like him
E7 E6
And I'm seeing the light in a station bar
E
And travelling far in sin
E7 E6
And I'm sailing downstairs to the northern line
E
Watching the shine of the shoes
E7 E6
And hearing the trials of the people there
E
Who's to care if they lose?
[Chorus]
Fmaj7 E
Take a look, you may see me on the ground
Fmaj7 E
For I am the parasite of this town
Fmaj7 E
And take a look you may see me in the dirt
Fmaj7 E
For I am the parasite who hangs from your skirt

Personally thinks the tab works best if played in Eb Standard for these chords, as it matches the original recording better. While I don't know the name of the chord, there should probably be one between E6 and E, shifting a finger from the 4th fret on the A string to the 3rd. Those are my only issues with it though.
