All the strings in the song should be tuned down 1/2 a step lower. so the tuning would be: Dflat Aflat Dflat Gflat etc.

I think this sounds better in Drop_D 1/2 step down (Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb). Also, what he's saying behind the solo is; “Most people don't realize that large pieces of coral, which have been painted brown and attached to the skull by common wood screws, can make a child look like a deer.” It's a quote from Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey, which is pretty funny actually.
