Whoops, got notified of an answer to this and noticed I totally screwed the pooch in my "correction" up there. Should be this: wrong chord change in there, and it's one of the loveliest chord changes I know (min to maj same root): G F#m F#m7 Bm He jumped so high, jumped so high [sic] should be G F#m F#maj Bm Bmaj(A) He jumped so high, jumped so high The opposite effect, maj to min of the same tonic, is a very effective device in songs like Jimmy Webb's "Wichita Lineman", Elton John's "Daniel" and Don McLean's "Vincent (Starry Starry Night)"
