dunno about the oasis chord book, but i reckon c/b sounds better. also if , for the intro, u play the 1st half of the 'C' measure (ie first couple of strums) as normal C and the second half (next 2 strums) as X30010 (letting the D string ring by taking ur middle finger of the C chord) it kinda captures the bass note in the actual song, but on 1 guitar. Same for the C/B, play the 1st half of the measure X2X010 (making a point of muting the D string) and then releasing it for the second 2 strums. sounds wkd, enjoy.
