I tried to tab this song just by watching the video on YouTube
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXlSrfkNxPw) and the low quality made
it hard to see or hear what the G-like chord really is but I gave it my
best shot. E-Mail any corrections. PS, this is my first tab.

CAPO ON 4TH

Chords Used: (I personally think that the first G sounds better but in the
video it looks like he's playing the second G so you can decide).

^When he goes from the C to the Am, hammer on the 2nd fret G string)

[Verse One:]
C Am
My baby don't mess around

Because she loves me so
           G Am
And this I know for sure...
C Am
Uh, But does she really wanna

But can't stand to see me
     G Am
Walk out the door...
C Am
Can't stand to fight the feelin'
                                     G Am
Because the thought alone is killing me right now...
C Am
Thank god for mom and dad

For sticking two together
          G Am
'Cause we don't know how...

[Chorus:]
C Am
Hey... Ya...
G C

[Verse Two:]
C
You think you've got it
Am

Am
Oh, we get together
                                          G Am
But seperate's always better when there's feelings involved
C Am
If what they say is "Nothing is forever"
     G Am
Then what makes, Then what makes, Then what makes

Then what makes, then what makes, Love the exception
C Am
So why you, why you

Why you, why you, why you are we so in denial

These are the chords i picked up from the video... The chord names are C, FM7, Gadd4, C/G6th. He seems to play the same chord pattern through the whole song. Could be wrong, just a suggestion. |-------| |-----1-| |-3-----| |-3-----| |-3-----| |-------| |---2---| |-------| |---2---| |-3-----| |-------| |---2---| |-------| |-2p0h2-| |-------| |-------| |-----1-| |-----1-| |-----1-| |-----1-| |-3-----| |-3?----| |-3?----| |-3?----| NOTE: I can't tell whether or not he keeps his pinky on the 1st string third fret the whole song or not, hence (?).

These, as far as I can tell, are the really real chords: |-------| |-X-----| |-3-----| |-------| |-3-----| |-------| |---2---| |-------| |---2---| |-3-----| |-------| |---2---| |-------| |-2-----| |-------| |-------| |-----1-| |-----1-| |-----1-| |-----1-| |-3-----| |-3-----| |-3-----| |-3-----| It's extremely, extremely easy, but sounds pretty awesome. Cheers.
