the song's verse rythem is 4/4 for a measure then goes into 3/4 untill the riff starts over again

During the verse the song the time signature is 13/4, which can be counted as one measure of 4/4 followed by three measures of 3/4. Then when the chorus comes in the song changes to straight 3/4 until the verse begins again and the song returns to the original 13/4
