Note: G/F# is a special one, (I kind of made it up ) and is difficult to swap out of this
song, but you can at the end of the intro.

Note #2: There's an odd delay in D/F#, not a mistake. The chords change where they
change on the words, finally!

(PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU THINK A CHORD IS WRONG AND I'LL TAKE A LOOK AT IT.
Someone had suggested Cmadd9 but I'm having trouble deciding.
I may just change Cadd9 to C)

[Intro]
  G D/F# Em Cadd9
  G D/F# Em Cadd9 G/F# G

[Verse 1]
                                D/F# Em
I'm tired of waking up in tears,
  D/F# G D/F# Em Cadd9
'Cause I can't put to bed these phobias and fears
        G D/F# Em
           I'm new to this grief I can't  explain;
  D/F# G D/F# Em Cadd9
But I'm no stranger to the heartache and the pain.

[Pre-Chorus]
        D Em G Cadd9
The fire I began, is burning me alive
        D Em Cadd9 D/F#
But I know better than to leave and let it die

[Chorus]
                G D/F# Em Cadd9
I'm a Silhouette, asking every now and then,
                 G D/F# Em Cadd9
"Is it over yet? Will I ever feel again?"
                G D/F# Em Cadd9
I'm a Silhouette, chasing rainbows on my own

                  Am7 D G D Em D
But the more I try to move on, the more I feel alone
               Cadd9 Cmadd9 G
So I watch the summer stars to lead me home

[Verse 2]
                                  D/F# Em
I'm sick of the past I can't erase,
  D/F# G D/F# Em Cadd9
A jumble of footprints and hasty steps I can't retrace,
        G D/F# Em
The mountains of things that I still regret,
  D/F# G D/F# Em
Is a vile reminder that I would rather just forget
               Cadd9 D
           (No matter where I go)

[Pre-Chrous]
                   Em G Cadd9

                G D/F# Em Cadd9
I'm a Silhouette, asking every now and then,
                 G D/F# Em Cadd9
"Is it over yet? Will I ever smile again?"
                G D/F# Em Cadd9
I'm a Silhouette chasing rainbows on my own

[Post-Chorus]

                  Am7 D G D Em D
But the more I try to move on, the more I feel alone
               Cadd9 Cmadd9 G
So I watch the summer stars to lead me home

[Bridge]

Hi there! I've been using this chord version (printed; it's in my binder of songs) for many months now and I've got to say I've really enjoyed it. However, I did change the chords (which is why I'm here) to the pre-chorus, so see if you like it better than what you have: Pre-Chrous [tab] (D) Em G Cadd9 The fire I began, is burning me alive D/F# Em Cadd9 D/F# But I know better than to leave and let it die [/tab] Wow okay that was such a minor change, but you said post corrections xD. Also, great tab!! Like I said, I play this a lot and I really appreciate it, so, thanks for making it!

In the intro, the major fourth is actually minor on the repeat.

Updated the song today, I removed a lot of redundant (G) and removed plenty of ramblings at the beginning. Please let me know if you think that something should be different.
