[Intro]
G#m F# C#/E# Emaj7 (x2)

[Verse]
    G#m F#
The days were long and the night so cold
    C#/E# E
The pages turn and the tale unfolds
   G#m F# C#/E# E
He left me for another lady
    G#m F#
She stood so tall and she never slept
          C#/E# E
There was not one moment he could regret
   G#m F# C#/E# E
He left me for another lady
E B D#
He took my hand one day and told me
        D#/G
 He was leaving
G#m F#
  Me disbelieving
    E B
And I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I
D# D#/G G#m F#
Had to let him go

[Chorus]
             E B
Her name was New York, New York and she
D# D#/G G#m F#
Took his heart away from mine
             E B
Her name was New York, New York and she
        D# D#/G G#m F# E2 Em6
She had poisoned his sweet mind. Mm .. mm .. mmmm

[Verse]
    G#m F#
The wolves they howl for my lost soul
C#/E# E
I fell down a deep black hole
     G#m F# C#/E# E
He left me for another lady
    G#m F#
She poured the drinks and she poured the power
C#/E# E
Diamond girl who could talk for hours
     G#m F# C#/E# E
He left me for another lady
E B
Now I am on my own
           D#
He told me
       D#/G
He was leaving
G#m F#
 And I was pleading
    E B
And I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I
D# D#/G G#m F#
Had to let him go

[Chorus]
    E
The greatest times
  C#m C#m7
I don't want to hear it
     G#m
Your new life tonight
  F#
I don't want to hear it
    E
The newfound friends

[Verse]
         C#m C#m7
She introduced you to
  G#m
I don't want to know them
       F#
I just want to be with you
E C#/F
Please don't make me go to
1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4
E C#/F E B

Thanks a lot Phil, I would give you for this 4+ cause I got a small corrections. Check these chords:

E B
And I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I
Eb G G#m F#
Had to let him go

It isnt G, G#m and F#... where are they from???

Maybe something else small, but this was very useful tab for me!
Thanks a lot!!!

Yeah, my guitarist and I have been arguing over this one. the arrangements are so lush that it is hard to assign a chord to some parts. I play bass and just play Eb,G#,F#. the other bit which I am not happy with is the transition into E in the last chorus. I'll update this when I have it completely nailed. Thanks for the comments it is a great song.
