[Intro]
B B/A# G#m G#m/F# E E/D# E F#

[Verse 1]
B B/A# G#m G#m/F#
  I'm bad news, a black and blues-er
E E/D# E F#
 Who's a loser, a merry-go-round spiraling down
B B/A# G#m G#m/F#
I'm all used up, I'm chaffed and chewed up
E E/D# E F#sus
Who's just screwed up, the same old Charlie hitting the ground.

[Chorus]
F# B B/A# G#m G#m/F#
Cause I'll never be the soul of a man, noble and wise
        E E/D# E F#
Like the soul of a man who lifted me high
        B B/A# G#m G#m/F#
Like the soul of a man, heroic and true
          E E/D# E F# F#/E
Like the soul of a man that I looked up to
F#/D# F#/C#
     What else could I do?

[Verse 2]
B B/A# G#m G#m/F#
  Stupid Hubris, no excuses
E E/D# E F#
Blew my fuses, I guess I'm just a ruse in my fathers shoes
B B/A# G#m G#m/F E E/D#
Not amusing, no cofusing, this streak of losing
E F#sus
Totally brutal and useless too.

[Chorus]
F# B B/A# G#m G#m/F#
How can I be the soul of a man, noble and wise
        E E/D# E F#
Like the soul of a man who lifted me high
        B B/A# G#m G#m/F#
Like the soul of a man, heroic and true
        E E/D# E F# F#/E
Like the soul of a man that I looked up to
F#/D#
What else could I...

[Break]
G#m D#m
Just when I'm reaching for that rung at the top
           E F#
I'm that broken heel unsteady and ready ready to drop

[Chorus]
C C/B Am Am/G
When will I be the soul of a man, noble and wise
        F F/E F G
Like the soul of a man who lifted me high
C C/B Am Am/G
Soul of a man, heroic and true
         F F/E F G G/F
Like the soul of a man that I looked up to
G/E G/D C C/B
 What else could I do?
Am Am/G F F/E
I'll never be, no I'll never be
F G
I have gone and let you down
C C/B Am Am/G
Oh! Soul! Soul of a man
F F/E
Here comes that familiar sound
F G G# A# C
Same old Charlie hitting the ground

You do realize that this song isn't by Panic! At The Disco, right lol? It's a Broadway song started with Kinky Boots, before Brendon was casted. Either way, it would just be Brendon and not his whole band.

Well I guess it's understandable that it'd also be under Panic! At The Disco since the version he sings is in a different key. And also, Brendon is the whole band lol

Brendon does not go on tour solo. He may not have specific band members who play his instruments, but he doesn't show up to his concerts solo...
