PANTERA
WALK (Solo)
Tuning (D G C F A D)
Alot of tabs out there for this song are in Drop D, which is incorrect. Dimebag played
this down a whole step.
I find in this tuning it gives it better sound and there's a little less stretching of
your fingers on the neck.
Sounds best with the Bridge Pickup, a decent amount of reverb and some slight delay.
It's a pretty fast solo, but the licks are fairly easy. so I've tabbed it out lick by
lick in order.
V Bend this slow

This is the part where Dimebag taps the 2nd fret and slides to the 14th alternating with
each hand.
The last time you reach 14, I personally pick it and give it some vibrato

I think the slides from 2 to 14 are all just on the G string, I think I recall watching Dime give an example of this solo, otherwise nice tab, very helpful

Yeah, good tab!
Just a tip for everyone, change the reference pitch on your tuner from 440 hz to 425-426 hz and tune your guitar in D-standard: D G C F A D
Sounds pretty much the same as the almighty Dime!

All tabs in drop D are wrong ,song is in D STANDARD tuning at about 434ish cents on your tuner. For you new players learning thing in parts like he sections out on this tab is the correct way to learn for difficult parts. 1 brick at a time builds a house.
