                        Hard Times Lyrics
            Lyrics from YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEB6ibtdPZc)
(Verse 1)
All that I want
Is to wake up fine
Tell me that I’m alright
That I Ain’t gonna die
All that I want
Is a hole in the ground
You can tell me when it’s alright
For me to come out

(Chorus 1)
HARD TIMES
Gonna make you wonder why you even try
HARD TIMES
Gonna take you down and laugh when you cry
THESE LIVES
And I still don't know how I even survive
HARD TIMES
HARD TIMES
and i gotta get to rock bottom
(Verse 2)
Walking around
With my little raincloud
Hanging over my head
And it ain’t coming down
Where do I go?
Gimme some sort of sign
Hit me with lightning!
Maybe I’ll come alive

(Chorus 2)
HARD TIMES
Gonna make you wonder why you even try
HARD TIMES
Gonna take you down and laugh when you cry
THESE LIVES
And I still don't know how I even survive
HARD TIMES
HARD TIMES
and i gotta get to rock bottom

(Bridge)
Tell my friends I’m coming down
We'll kick it when I hit the ground
Tell my friends I’m coming down
We'll kick it when I hit the ground
when I hit the ground, when I hit the ground
when I hit the ground, when I hit the ground

(Chorus 3) x2
HARD TIMES
Gonna make you wonder why you even try
HARD TIMES
Gonna take you down and laugh when you cry
THESE LIVES
And I still don't know how I even survive
HARD TIMES
HARD TIMES

and i gotta get to rock bottom

Anyone know the strum pattern for the chorus. Having problems with it. I'm not the best at fret hand muting. Besides that, love the tab. Will be covering this once I get the chorus down

Essentially, the strumming pattern is this constant sixteenth note rhythm on your right hand with accents. If you listen to the song you hopefully can pick up the hits that I tabbed out and watch the guitar players right hand in the video for visual guidance.

Muting the strings with you left hand takes some practice, but you just need to release the tension in your left hand momentarily. It reminds me of a funky scratchy rhythm part anyways, so as long as you get the general feel it should sound good! I hope I was able to help.
