Intro:

G Em7 Cadd9 G Em7 Cadd9

G Em7 Cadd9 G

G Em7
Trying to hold a love that wants to go
        G Em7
Is like trying to catch a falling flake of snow
   Cadd9 D/F#
It glimmers while it can but it will melt between your hands, you know

G Cadd9 G

    G Em7
To keep alive a love that wants to die
               G Em7
You teach the birds to swim, implore the fish to fly
     Cadd9 D/F#
But gills are made for water, and feathers for the sky, y'know

G Cadd9 G

Am C G Cadd9 G
Oh-oh oh oh oh-h oh oh

Am C G Em7 Cadd9 G
Oh-oh oh oh oh-h oh oh

    G Em7
To find a love that's new where do you start
           G Em7
It's like trying to find the light switch in the dark
    Cadd9 D/F#
But falling over mess you left unaddressed inside your heart

G Em7 Cadd9 G

Am C G Cadd9 G
Oh-oh oh oh oh-h oh oh

Am C D/F#
Oh-oh oh oh oh-h oh oh oh oh oh

           Am C
But I will find love, that's a blind love
          G D/F#
It's the kind of love I need
             Am C
Oh well I'll find love, that's a blind love
          G D/F#
It's the kind of love I need

Am C G Em7 Cadd9 G
Oh-oh oh oh oh-h oh oh

Am C G Em7 Cadd9 G
Oh-oh oh oh oh-h oh oh

Am C G Em7 Cadd9 G
Oh-oh oh oh oh-h oh oh

Am C G Em7 Cadd9 G (strum once)
Oh-oh oh oh oh-h oh oh

Cheers mate. I had a look at him playing live in Brisbane at the old museum and he actually plays a Dsus4... I prefer a regular D though, I think it adds some colour to the song. Whatever works I guess. Thanks for your comment

I think you should use the capo on the 4th instead on the 5th. 4th sounds more like the album version.
