You would understand if you experienced the power of the blood shed by Christ on your behalf. The church is made up of millions of former sinners, druggies, thieves, liars, adulterers, and sexually perverse. Just to name a few. So when we hear the lyrics it is a witness for us, of the power Christ shed on our lives and delivered us from sin and death. When we heard the voice of Christ to be born again, we came, out of the darkness into his glorious daylight.
