It's not in the wrong key. He just wrote the tab with a capo on the first fret.

Also, if you want to get fancy, you can add the walk-down chords at the ends of the lines, for instance, after "blue," F#7, Bm E, A. There are more of those but I don't have time to write them all out just now. And yes, it does modulate to Bb (well, technically B) on the last verse, with an F-chord transition.

The F#m7 on "thinkin' that" is actually a major, not a minor. Otherwise, very good job with this one. :)
