     C D7
They all said Louise was not half bad,
       F G7 C
It was written on the walls and window shades,
                             D7
And how she'd act the little girl,
  F G7 C
A deceiver don't believe her that's her trade.
F G7 C
Sometimes a bottle perfume,
F G7 C
Flowers or maybe some lace,
F G7 Am
Men brought Louise ten-cent trinkets,
        D7 G
Their intentions were easily traced.
C D7
And everybody knew sometimes she cried,
F G7 C
Ah, women like Louise, well they get by.

F G7 C
F G7 C
F G7 Am
D7 G

C D7
Everybody thought it kind of sad,
          F G7 C
when they found Louise in her room,
                                    D7
They'd all put her down below their kind,
           F G7 C
Still some cried when she died that afternoon.
F G7 C
Louise rode home on the mail train,
F G7 C
Some where down South I heard them say,
F G7 Am
Too bad it ended so ugly,
    D7 G
Too bad she had to go this way.
C D7
Ah, the wind is blowing colder now,
     F G7 C
Good night Louise, good night.
G C C7

D7 sounds better at the end of first and third line(its kind of sad), and in place of F7 in the eighth(too bad...).

Like the other comment, D7 sounds better than the G7 in the first line of the verse.
