If I Could Start Today Again Capo on 2

F C G C F C G
All the Kings and Queens in the bible, they could not turn back time.
F C G C F C G
So what chance have I of a miracle, in this life of mine.
G F
I only want one day
G C Am F G
to unsay the things I've said, un-do that thing I did. 24 little hours.
G C Am
Oh God, please wipe them all away and I promise I will change.
F G C
If I could start today again.

F C G C F C G
I know I'm not the milk and honey kind, today I proved it true.
F C G C F C G
When the red mist falls around my eyes, I know not what I do.
G F
Please give me back today
G C Am
and I won't say the things I said or do that thing I did.
F G C
Every minute, every hour the replay's just the same
and I can't stand the shame.
F G C
Oh, let me start today again.

Am -- F -- G -- C -- Am -- F
G F G C Am
I only want one day, one lousy day that's all of everyday that's been before
F G C Am
Since time began, I know my prayer's in vain but for a second I'll pretend
F G C
that I can start today again.

F --- G --- C

Thanks this is good. Sounds nice with fingerpicking and playing the F chord just on top 4 strings without the bass strings. Have also seen Paul Kelly playing this up at 7th fret, starting on C chord instead of F, so it stays in the same key. Both sound good.
