Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes
                         by Paul Simon
                        (off Graceland)

Bassist: Baghiti Khumalo

NOTE: I've only figured out the main groove, and two of those beautiful
licks that Baghiti does. The chorus is based on F-Bb-C, but I
can't pick out exactly what he's doing. "." indicate stoccato notes.

Hey man, I think you've tabbed it well but I have one issue with it. The main slide in the licks. I tried it your way and I admit that it does sound somewhat to the effect in the song but I think that's just the way he has the sound of his bass set. In the video there is a clear shot of him playing for a few seconds and he does the slide, and it goes a long way up the neck, beginning from the first few frets. I think it's played like this:

I think if you set the settings on your amp right to get the same sound you will agree. Great tab anyway!

You missed a spot. What about the bit when the horns play?
